Women & Heart Disease

Women often experience a heart event in very different circumstances to men.

Differences occur in the understanding, diagnosis, treatment and recovery of women heart patients.

Carolyn Thomas’ Heart Sisters

 http://myheartsisters.org/

Carolyn Thomas is a member of the “heart club”.  She has since developed a website where she shares her own experiences and reports on" all things of interest to heart patients", especially women.

The wealth of information is outstanding and her work has won her many awards for her contribution to heart disease information.

Her articles are informative, readable and filled with good humour.

Like many others I thoroughly recommend the site. In all my work with women heart patients I always refer to Carolyn’s website.
